How about making these delicious crispy balls??
✅1 cup of sugar
✅½ stick of butter
✅1 cup of chopped dates
✅1 beaten egg
✅¾ cup chopped pecans
✅2 cups of puffed rice
✅1 cup of flaked coconut
*In a medium pot, combine sugar and butter on low heat.
*Let the butter melt complete, allowing the sugar to fully dissolve.
*Add the chopped dates, stir constantly for about 5 minutes until the mixture turns light brown.
*Turn the heat off and add the beaten egg while continuously stirring for three minutes or until there are no visible egg whites, add the pecans and mix them through. *Finally add the puffed rice, and fold it gently until combined, let the mixture cool.
*Once the mixture has cooled down, form small ½ ounce balls and roll them into a flaked coconut.
