Ingredients:
1 Cup of Oats
1 Cup of Sonora Valley Pitted Medjool Dates
1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter
1/3 Cup of Unsweetened Cocoa
1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
Directions:
ā”ļøPlace the Pitted Medjool Dates on a small bowl and soak with warm water for about 10 minutes. Drain and save the date infused water.
ā”ļøIn an 8-inch square baking pan, place two sheets of parchment paper in a form of a cross leaving some of it hanging outside the mold. Spray with some cooking spray and set aside.
ā”ļøIn a food processor, throw in the oats and process them until finely ground, add the Pitted Medjool Dates, peanut butter, cocoa, and salt. Process thoroughly. If the mixture seems a bit dry, add a tablespoon at a time of the date infused water.
ā”ļøSpread the mixture evenly into the baking pan.
ā”ļøRefrigerate for about 1 hour.
ā”ļøRemove from the baking pan and cut into 16 pieces.
